Lexi ended up in the pound and was collected by her owner but he decided to let us have her because he felt he just didn’t have the time to look after her the way she deserved.

Lexi is a gorgeous, gentle and elegant lady and when she runs she covers ground with so little effort and looks so graceful.

She is too smart to be left in a back yard for too long and if she doesn’t get regular excise and stimulation she may become destructive.

She needs a large yard with good fencing and loves to be inside, especially in winter as she had a thin coat and feels the cold.

She does have a high prey drive so would not suit a home with small animals or cats. Lexi has been socialised with lots of other dogs, small and large and gets on with them all. She is not aggressive around food either. She is happy to share her bones.

She is learning to sit, stay, go to the toilet, heel, and other commands.

Lexi needs a kind loving but firm owner and does not do well to harsh treatment. She loves people and cuddles and food.

She will thrive in the right home with ongoing training and socialisation.
