NEW UPDATE: Roley has been part of our family for approx 6 months and has progressed from a very reserved and fearful dog to a confident and loving companion. He shows gratitude for any love given and loyalty to those people he trusts.

Roley is very protective of his family and his yard. He will always let you know if someone is around that shouldn't be.

He loves long walks (especially off the lead) and playtime in the backyard with the family. Also adores going for drives in the car. He interacts very well with our Maltese terrier and they have become great friends.

He truly deserves a forever home and the love that goes with it.

UPDATE:
Roley has been in adoptive care with me for the past two months. He has settled into a busy family life very well especially with a very annoying little Maltese terrier to tolerate . He is still very protective of all his family members and certainly will let you know if there is someone around that doesn't belong to your home. I can leave my children home with full comfort that they are safe from any intruders. 

Continues to be fearful of the hose when used but slowly improves everyday. He loves to go for a walk especially off his lead where he can really stretch his legs. He travels in the car exceptionally. 

He is an extremely affectionate dog once he gains your trust and loves a cuddle.  I feel he still has some puppy tendencies but again, everyday he has improved.

Roley has been in care for a while as it has taken that long for his personality to show.  He was a bit funny with other dogs while he was in the pound but since he has been in foster care he has settled beautifully.

He has been around puppies for about a month and he been great with them, even tries to play with them and the pups are big enough to play back.

He is scared of the hose. Every time I turn the hose on to water the grass he is nowhere to be seen. Roley is super friendly with his people and very loyal, as he would follow me everywhere if he could with his nose at my hand.

He is quite protective of his yard and will bark at strangers.  He loves his walks and loves to run and travels well in the car.

He hasn't been around cats while he has been in foster or small children but we were told he is good with kids.

Not sure of his breed but he is about 3-4 yrs old.
