This beautiful girl was born 7-11-12 and was given to rescue after her owners could not look after her. She is such an intelligent, loving girl that would suit a family or single. She is wonderful with small children, cats and other dogs but may stress or jump small fences if left for long periods by herself. We have not been able to test this as she has her foster family fur brother Sydney that she spends her 'alone' time with.
She travels great in the car, even for 7 hour trips. Zola walks well on a lead. 'Waits' for any treats and meals. She knows 'away' when you need just a little bit of space to breath, lol. 'Stays in her yard' (unfenced) and will come when called 99% of the time, minus the distraction from other puppies.
Sleeps indoors at night and spends most days outside running, sleeping or playing with Sydney.
Food works fabulously for training and rewards, she really loves cheese, but would take anything. Loves going into the ocean, river or lake but really doesn't like the hose. Iced water and a freshly dug patch of shady ground on a hot day (or air conditioning) or a warm back to snuggle against on a winters day (or heater) is what she desires.
She has been DNA tested and comes with paper work but will not get as big as the paperwork says. 33kg at age 3 and should stay this weight or a bit less.
If you think you want to be welcomed home from a hard day or just from checking the mail by a wagging tail, a vocal but not barking 'hello' and the look of unconditional love, then this girl is for you. Come say hello and see if you can be the forever home that our amazing Miss Zola deserves.
